2024 BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX

Lance Stroll finished in tenth place at the 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix, securing a point for the fourth time in his last five appearances at Bahrain International Circuit.

2024 SAUDI ARABIAN GRAND PRIX

After appearing in Q3 for the first time since the 2023 Sao Paulo Grand Prix, Lance Stroll retired from the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, recording his first retirement since the 2023 Mexico City Grand Prix. Bringing out the Safety Car with a crash on Lap 6, Stroll ensured that Jeddah Corniche Circuit retained its record of having at least one Safety Car period in every race at the track to date.

2024 AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX

Lance Stroll reached Q3 for the second race in a row at the 2024 Australian Grand Prix – the first time he had done so since the 2023 Australian and Azerbaijan Grands Prix. This was Stroll’s second Q3 appearance in Melbourne.

Stroll out-qualified Fernando Alonso for the fourth time during their time as Aston Martin team-mates. This was the second time Stroll out-qualified a team-mate in Melbourne, having last done so in 2018.

Stroll finished eighth in the race, scoring points at Albert Park for the third time in his last four Australian Grand Prix appearances.

2024 JAPANESE GRAND PRIX

Lance Stroll recorded his 68^th Q1 exit, putting him three away from equalling Marcus Ericsson at the top of the all-time list of most Q1 eliminations. Stroll recorded Aston Martin’s first Q1 exit since the 2023 Mexico City Grand Prix. This was Stroll’s third consecutive Q1 exit at the Japanese Grand Prix – but was his best qualifying result at the track since 2019.

Finishing the Japanese Grand Prix in 12^th place, this was the first time Stroll finished a Grand Prix without scoring a point since finishing 11^th in the 2023 Qatar Grand Prix.

2024 CHINESE GRAND PRIX

With 15^th place in the 2024 Chinese Grand Prix, Lance Stroll made this his fourth appearance at the track without ever scoring a point.

2024 MIAMI GRAND PRIX

Lance Stroll out-qualified his team-mate in Grand Prix qualifying for the second time this season, having last done so at the Australian Grand Prix.

2024 EMILIA ROMAGNA GRAND PRIX

Lance Stroll made his 150^th Grand Prix start at the 2024 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, becoming the 44^th driver to have made as many as 150 starts. Stroll finished ninth, scoring points for the third time this season. He last scored at the Australian Grand Prix.

With Lando Norris having finished where he started, Stroll is now the only driver to have gained places from where he started in all four of the Imola races since F1’s return to the track in 2020.

2024 MONACO GRAND PRIX

Lance Stroll qualified 14^th for the 2024 Monaco Grand Prix, out-qualifying his team-mate for a third successive race. It’s the first time he’s out-qualified his team-mate at three races in a row since the 2022 Hungarian, Belgian and Dutch Grands Prix.

Stroll remains yet to reach Q3 on any of his seven Monaco Grand Prix qualifying appearances, though this was the first time he out-qualified a team-mate in Monaco. Stroll finished the race in 14^th. He was the only driver to finish the Monaco Grand Prix in a worse position than where he started.

2024 CANADIAN GRAND PRIX

Lance Stroll qualified in ninth place for the 2024 Canadian Grand Prix, equalling his best qualifying result of the season to date. This was Stroll’s third Q3 appearance of the season – his first since the Australian Grand Prix, where he also qualified ninth. This was Stroll’s first-ever Q3 appearance at his home event.

Stroll finished seventh in the 2024 Canadian Grand Prix, recording his best home result to date. It was the fifth time he has scored points in six appearances at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. Seventh marked Stroll’s best result since finishing fifth at the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix. Stroll’s seventh place was the best result for a Canadian driver at the Canadian Grand Prix since Jacques Villeneuve finished on the podium in 1996.

2024 SPANISH GRAND PRIX

Lance Stroll started and finished the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix in 14th place. It was the second time – after 2021 – that Stroll finished the Spanish Grand Prix in the same position as he started.

2024 AUSTRIAN GRAND PRIX

Lance Stroll recorded his second Q1 exit of the 2024 season at the Austrian Grand Prix, his first since the Japanese Grand Prix. 17^th was Stroll’s worst qualifying result since qualifying 18^th at the 2023 Mexico City Grand Prix.

2024 BRITISH GRAND PRIX

Lance Stroll qualified eighth for the 2024 British Grand Prix – his first top eight qualifying result since setting the third fastest time in Q3 at the 2023 Sao Paulo Grand Prix. This was Stroll’s first Q3 appearance at Silverstone since the 70^th Anniversary Grand Prix – and his third top ten qualifying result here in total.

Stroll finished seventh in the 2024 British Grand Prix, recording his fifth points finish of the season – his first since the Canadian Grand Prix, where he also finished seventh.

2024 HUNGARIAN GRAND PRIX

Lance Stroll qualified eighth for a second race weekend in a row, equalling his best qualifying result of 2024 so far. This was only the second time – after 2020 – that Stroll reached Q3 at the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Coming home in tenth place at the 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix, Lance Stroll scored points at consecutive races for the first time this year. Stroll also finished tenth in last year’s Hungarian Grand Prix. This was his third points-scoring appearance in total at the Hungaroring.

2024 BELGIAN GRAND PRIX

For the seventh time in his eight Belgian Grand Prix appearances, Lance Stroll was out-qualified by his team-mate.

2024 DUTCH GRAND PRIX

Lance Stroll qualified ninth for the 2024 Dutch Grand Prix – his best qualifying result at Zandvoort to date. Stroll lost five places over the course of the 2024 Dutch Grand Prix. It was the first time that he did not finish a Zandvoort race in the same position as he started.

2024 ITALIAN GRAND PRIX

For the third year in succession, Lance Stroll was eliminated in Q1 at the Italian Grand Prix. This was his and his team’s first Q1 exit since the 2024 Austrian Grand Prix. 17^th equalled Stroll’s worst qualifying result of the year. Stroll finished 19^th for the first time in his career. He has now recorded at least one finish in every position between 3^rd and 20^th during his F1 career.

2024 AZERBAIJAN GRAND PRIX

Lance Stroll was the second driver to retire from the 2024 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, recording his first DNF since crashing out of the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. Along with Carlos Sainz, Stroll equalled Daniil Kvyat and Max Verstappen as the driver with the most retirements in Baku. This was Stroll’s third DNF in the last four races at the track.

2024 SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX

Qualifying 17^th for the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix, Lance Stroll recorded his 71^st Q1 exit, equalling Marcus Ericsson for second on the list of most all-time Q1 eliminations. This was Stroll’s fifth Q1 exit from five appearances at the Singapore Grand Prix. He became the first driver to record five Q1 eliminations at the track – and remains the only driver to have had more than three Q1 exits here. His 12^th place in 2022 is the only time that Stroll has qualified above 17^th place at the Singapore Grand Prix. 17^th place equals Stroll’s worst qualifying result of the 2024 season to date. He also qualified 17^th at the Austrian and Italian Grands Prix.

Stroll made his 161st start at the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix and finished the race without setting the fastest lap. He therefore equalled Johnny Herbert at the top of the list of most starts without a fastest lap to his name. Stroll maintained his record of gaining at least three positions during the race on each occasion that he has started the Singapore Grand Prix.

2024 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX

While Esteban Ocon secured his first fastest lap in the 2024 United States Grand Prix, Lance Stroll set a new record as the driver to have started the most races without ever taking the fastest lap. This was Stroll’s 162^nd Grand Prix start, overtaking Johnny Herbert at the top of the list of most starts without a fastest lap.

2024 MEXICO CITY GRAND PRIX

Lance Stroll continued his record of having never reached Q3 in Mexico. His 14^th place in qualifying for the 2024 Mexico City Grand Prix was his best qualifying result in Mexico since qualifying 12^th on his first appearance at the track in 2017. It was also the first time since then that he was not out in Q1. With 11^th place in the race, Lance Stroll recorded his best result since the Belgian Grand Prix. 2017 remains the only time that Stroll has scored any points in Mexico.

2024 SAO PAULO GRAND PRIX

Despite crashing in Q2, Lance Stroll reached Q3 at the 2024 Sao Paulo Grand Prix. He was unable to set a lap time and therefore qualified tenth. This was the first time he qualified in the top ten since the 2024 Dutch Grand Prix. This was Stroll’s second Q3 appearance at Interlagos, having first reached Q3 at the track in 2023.

Crashing out and getting beached in the gravel on the formation lap, Stroll recorded the second DNS of his career. His first came as the result of a qualifying crash at the 2023 Singapore Grand Prix. The Aston Martin’s driver’s off led to an aborted start procedure. It was the second year in a row that a driver crashed out on the formation lap at Interlagos, with Charles Leclerc having done the same thing in 2023.

2024 LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX

Lance Stroll made his 164^th start at the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix, overtaking Jacques Villeneuve as the Canadian driver to have made the most Grand Prix starts in Formula 1.

Stroll recorded the 71^st Q1 exit of his Formula 1 career, equalling Marcus Ericsson for second on the list of most Q1 eliminations. He completed only one lap in Q1 as a result of his car being repaired between Free Practice 3 and qualifying following an on-track stoppage in the final practice session. This was the first time Stroll set the slowest lap time in qualifying since the 2023 Singapore Grand Prix.

2024 QATAR GRAND PRIX

After the 2024 Qatar Grand Prix, Charles Leclerc, Fernando Alonso and Max Verstappen are now the only drivers to complete all 171 Grand Prix laps held to date at Lusail Circuit. Along with Esteban Ocon and Sergio Perez, Lance Stroll lost their 100% completion rates as a result of their retirements. Those three are the only drivers to be out-qualified by their team-mate on all three Qatar Grand Prix appearances to date.

Stroll failed to reach the chequered flag for the fourth time this season. The Hungarian Grand Prix remains the last time that Stroll scored a point. This was Aston Martin’s first retirement at the Qatar Grand Prix.

2024 ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX

Lance Stroll exited in Q2 for the fourth consecutive season at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. This was the third time in the last three years that Stroll qualified 13^th at Yas Marina Circuit. With 14^th place in the Grand Prix, Stroll failed to score a point for an 11^th consecutive race.
