YOUR PREDICTION: YES
CORRECT ANSWER: YES
Given his recent form, it’s not surprising only 59% of you backed Max Verstappen to finish the Spanish Grand Prix. He did indeed make it to the end, and recorded his best finish of the season so far with third place. It was his first podium since his win in Mexico last season. The result puts him sixth in the Drivers’ Championship.
2. Which team will be on pole?

YOUR PREDICTION: FERRARI
CORRECT ANSWER: MERCEDES
Despite over half of you backing Ferrari to take a fourth consecutive pole, the Italian team didn’t have an answer to Mercedes on Saturday. Lewis Hamilton took pole for the Silver Arrows with a mighty 1:16.173. The best Ferrari performance in qualifying was from Sebastian Vettel. A 1:16.305 was good enough for third on the grid.
3. Will Grosjean or Sirotkin score points?
3. Romain Grosjean and Sergey Sirotkin are the only drivers yet to score in 2018. Will either of them score points this weekend? #LightsOutPredictions #SpanishGP #F1

YOUR PREDICTION: ROMAIN GROSJEAN WILL
CORRECT ANSWER: NEITHER OF THEM WILL
Romain Grosjean’s terrible season continues. He started inside the top ten but was out before Turn Four, taking Nico Hulkenberg and Pierre Gasly out with him when he spun across the track. Sergey Sirotkin, meanwhile, started nineteenth and finished fourteenth. It was his best result of his F1 career so far, but he was the last of the drivers still on the circuit at the end of the race.
4. Which Spaniard will perform best?

YOUR PREDICTION: FERNANDO ALONSO
CORRECT ANSWER: CARLOS SAINZ
Only 25% of you predicted the younger of the pair to take more points. While Fernando Alonso qualified eighth and Sainz in ninth, in the race both Spaniards finished a lap down on the leader, but within the points. Sainz finished ahead of Alonso, with them scoring six and four points respectively.

Your faith was in Sebastian Vettel, with 58% of you predicting the Ferrari driver would regain his championship lead on Sunday. Instead, Lewis Hamilton’s win saw him extend his championship lead from four points to sixteen.
