— Lights Out ●●●●● (@LightsOutF1Blog) June 6, 2019
YOUR PREDICTION: YES
CORRECT ANSWER: NO
For the first time this year, and as only 21% of you predicted, there was only one Mercedes driver on the podium at the Canadian Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton won the race following a controversial penalty for Sebastian Vettel, while Valtteri Bottas finished fourth having qualified down in sixth.
2. WILL THE TRACK RECORD BE BROKEN?

— Lights Out ●●●●● (@LightsOutF1Blog) June 6, 2019
YOUR PREDICTION: YES
CORRECT ANSWER: YES
As 87% of you predicted, the track record was broken during qualifying on Saturday. Sebastian Vettel beat his previous record by 0.524 seconds. He and Lewis Hamilton were the only drivers to set lap times faster than last year’s pole time.
3. WHERE WILL LANCE STROLL FINISH?
3. Where will Lance Stroll finish in his home Grand Prix? #LightsOutPredictions #CanadianGP #F1
— Lights Out ●●●●● (@LightsOutF1Blog) June 6, 2019
YOUR PREDICTION: 11TH OR LOWER
CORRECT ANSWER: 9th or 10th
Lance Stroll’s weekend wasn’t looking too good by Saturday evening. An engine blow up in the final practice session saw him miss out on vital running and qualifying only eighteenth. However, he turned it around, put a good race together and scored points; something just 17% of you thought he would do. It’s the third time he’s scored points this season, all three finishes being ninth place results.
4. WILL KUBICA FINISH LAST?
4. Will Robert Kubica finish last of the cars still running at the end of the race? #LightsOutPredictions #CanadianGP #F1

YOUR PREDICTION: YES
CORRECT ANSWER: YES
The Williams driver did it again! For the sixth time in seven races, Robert Kubica finished last of the drivers still on the circuit at the end of the race. He finished two laps down on the leader, scoring his third consecutive eighteenth place finish.
5. WILL ANY DRIVER RETIRE ON LAP 1?

All 20 drivers safely navigated the first lap of the 2019 Canadian Grand Prix. The first retirement came on the eighth lap, with Lando Norris coming to a halt with a broken car on the main straight.
