CORRECT ANSWER: YES
It was almost a tie in this poll, with 51% of you believing that Mercedes would maintain their 100% win record at the Russian Grand Prix. After team order dramas at Ferrari, a DNF for Sebastian Vettel and a well-timed Virtual Safety Car, Mercedes were able to secure and eighth 1-2 finish of the year.

CORRECT ANSWER: 9th – 12th
Daniil Kvyat had a weekend to forget at his home race. Already starting at the back due to engine penalties, Kvyat ran into problems throughout the practice sessions and failed to take part in qualifying. After starting 19th, Kvyat was able to gain seven positions in the race and finished twelfth.

CORRECT ANSWER: 4th
Both Red Bull drivers had five place grid penalties for the Russian Grand Prix, but a Q1 crash saw Alex Albon start from the pit lane. He went on to gain fifteen positions in the race to come home fifth. Max Verstappen started from ninth and finished fourth – the best ever result for a Red Bull driver at the Sochi Autodrom.

YOUR PREDICTION: McLaren
CORRECT ANSWER: McLaren
With both Red Bull drivers taking five-place penalties, the fifth spot on the grid was a target for the midfield teams. It ended up being a battle between the McLaren and Renault drivers, with Carlos Sainz lapping fastest of the four drivers. Sainz lapped 0.077 seconds faster than Nico Hulkenberg.

YOUR PREDICTION: Renault
CORRECT ANSWER: Racing Point
Toro Rosso were the only team from this quartet who failed to score at the Russian Grand Prix. Renault picked up one point thanks to Nico Hulkenberg’s tenth place, while Haas scored two points with Kevin Magnussen finishing ninth. But it was Racing Point who scored the most points, with Sergio Perez adding six to the team’s tally with a seventh place finish.
