CORRECT ANSWER: FERRARI
Was that the most unexpected victory of the season so far? Only 13% of you believed that Ferrari would win the Singapore Grand Prix, but they did – and they scored a 1-2 finish! While Charles Leclerc provided the pace on Saturday, a masterful strategy and a great drive secured Sebastian Vettel his first win in over a year. Red Bull’s Max Verstappen completed the podium, while the Mercedes drivers finished fourth and fifth.

The Singapore Grand Prix continued its tradition of featuring a Safety Car period in every race. The 2019 event featured no less than three Safety Car outings!

CORRECT ANSWER: 6TH TO 10TH
It always looked set to be a difficult weekend for Alex Albon, who had no previous experience of the Marina Bay Circuit. And while he did struggle and suffered a crash in Friday Practice, he improved over the weekend and did, arguably, the best he could have done in the circumstances. He qualified sixth and finished where he started.

CORRECT ANSWER: 6TH OR 7TH
Lando Norris set a blistering lap in Q2, but a mistake in Q3 meant that it was up to Carlos Sainz to get the most out of the McLaren. Sainz qualified in seventh place. It marked their best qualifying position at the circuit since both cars qualified in the top four in 2012.

There were a few bits of driver news ahead of the race weekend, with Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen confirmed at Haas for 2020 and Robert Kubica announcing he was leaving Williams at the end of the year But that was it for the driver announcements in Singpaore!
