Prior to the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix, Sebastian Vettel was the only Red Bull driver to have finished on the podium in Bahrain. His win in 2013 remained their most recent podium finish. However, both Max Verstappen and Alex Albon finished in the top three in the 2020 race. This was the first time both Red Bull drivers have stood on the podium since the 2017 Japanese Grand Prix.

Lance Stroll’s race ended early with his car being flipped in the air by Daniil Kvyat.
