We knew there would be grid penalties – but maybe not this many! In total, eight drivers were handed penalties for the Belgian Grand Prix, all relating to engine components and gearboxes. Six were given back of the grid penalties, Valtteri Bottas had a 30 place penalty and Yuki Tsunoda started from the pit-lane due to a late engine change.
